 Inspection Requests – Important Notes

  1. Footing inspections are the only inspections that may be requested with a specific time.
  2. Commercial Final inspections need to be called in to schedule. Please contact Community Development at (317) 804-3150, option 5.
  3. All other inspections are conducted within the standard inspection window of 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday.
  4. Even if a time is entered in the request, inspectors may arrive at any time within the 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM window.
  5. When an inspection is scheduled, an email confirmation will be sent showing the scheduled inspection date, even if up to three preferred dates were originally requested.
  6. Please ensure the site is accessible and ready for inspection throughout the scheduled inspection window (e.g., debris, standing water, snow, or other obstructions must be cleared). Failure to provide safe and accessible conditions may result in a Fail status and additional fees.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
